The sights and sounds are exciting, just as they are in the field. The decisions to shoot, pick your spot and instant feedback on shot placement are just a few of the elements built into the system. The firearms configurations use modified firearms with laser-sensing devices that allow the system to detect a shot and instantly respond to the shooter.

Geocaching Contest |
|
Geocaching is an entertaining adventure game for GPS users. Participating in a cache hunt is a good way to take advantage of the wonderful features and capability of a gps unit. The basic idea is to have individuals and organizations set up caches all over the world and share the locations of these caches on the internet. GPS users can then use the location coordinates to find the caches. Once found, a cache may provide the visitor with a wide variety of rewards. All the visitor is asked to do is if they get something they should try to leave something for the cache.” For more information about geocaching visit www.geocaching.com
For participants of the 2008 Wetlander’s Festival, a Geocaching Contest has been set up. Click here for GPS coordinates for several caches that have been hid specifically for our contest. The first 2 caches can be found in Hoisington, and the third one is within 10 miles of Hoisington. Each one gives you the opportunity to win prizes. All have to do is find the caches.
