Cheyenne Bottoms Wetlanders Festival -- April 19th 2008,

Cheyenne Bottom's Wetlander's Festival is hosted annually by the town of Hoisington, Kansas. This year the festival will take place on Saturday, April 19th 2008 in down town Hoisington. The festival focuses on celebrating the amazing ecosystem of the Cheyenne Bottoms region in Central Kansas.

The festival will offer a glimpse into the nature and activities around the Cheyenne Bottoms area through events and activities the whole family can participate in and enjoy. This year the festival is hosting the 2008 World's All-Around Waterfowl Calling Contest. Come hear championship callers from far and wide! The contest starts at 9:00 a.m., and will continue through the day. Other events of the day include children's Redneck Parade, archery shoot, Pass It On, Virtual Reality Fishing and much more.
